‘PERFECT DESCRIPTIONS’: Exclusive Editorial By Photographer Dimitri Hyacinthe.

In an age where we are re-thinking the terms of what it means to be our true selves, the words of Descartes ‘I think therefore I am’ ring loud. Professed almost 400 years ago, these stoic words are as true today as when they were first written.

The idea of this shoot was just that - ‘What it means to be a vessel of feelings and ideas?’ And, how those feelings and ideas declare to the world the individual in front of them (whether silently or bombastically, consciously or unconsciously).

These beautiful women and models are more than their bodies, more than their skin, bones and hair. They are the thoughts they guard, and whisper quietly in their heart and mind even during a photoshoot or a dinner with friends. 

This is what it means to be human - to think, to feel. And, today more than ever in age of growth so exponential that don’t even have time to digest - we must remind ourselves we are all beings of thought, we are more than image no matter how glorious the image.

This visual project hails the beauty and humble thoughts inside all of us. Perfection is the ability to acknowledge our own imperfections. - Words by O’Ar Pali.
