VIVIENNE WESTWOOD LAUNCHES AUTUMN WINTER 22 STARRING COURTNEY LOVE

Vivienne Westwood and Andreas Kronthaler have premiered their Autumn/Winter 22 campaign, shot across their creative hub in Battersea, starring Courtney Love alongside the designers. Gathering inspiration and making connections with the students from the nearby RCA campus, the designers are striving to nurture the creative development of the area.

Expressing their admirations for Courtney Love, the creative duo expressed “We’ve known Courtney for a long time – she’s a friend. It was a pleasure to work with her. She’s an incredibly stylish woman – she appreciates clothes and knows the work that goes into them. She’s a connoisseur. She has her own style – its inspiring the way she presents herself – always cool! I think she’s very similar to Vivienne in some ways, they are both outspoken with important opinions and aren’t afraid to express them.”

PALM ANGELS UNVEILS ITS FIRST STORE IN MILAN

Palm Angels has unveiled the newest location of their stories in Milan, showcasing a new creative concept that boasts a harmony of contrasts betweeen concrete intesity and a warm, enveloping atmosphere reminiscent of a California landscape. In addition to the men’s, women’s and children’s lines, the flagship store is hosting the first drop from the home collection designed by Francesco Ragazzi: cushions, bedspreads, notebooks, candles and other objects that lend a touch of Palm’s “art de vivre” to the home.

The brand's first European store – its third worldwide, after Miami and Las Vegas – presents a new creative concept conceived by Ragazzi and the renowned Parisian architecture firm Gilles&Boissier. The designers expressed “It’s a place with two souls that interact with each other in meaningful ways, on one hand, the classic, traditionalist taste of Milan, my city, and on the other the brutalist aesthetic typical of buildings in Los Angeles, where it all started.”
