Halloween? Check. Bonfire Night? Check. This can only mean one thing - the most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner, and fashion brands far and wide are gearing up to present their much anticipated holiday projects and campaigns. Michael Kors is officially one of the first, announcing the release of his new, star-studded Holiday 2021 campaign for MICHAEL Michael Kors and Michael Kors Mens.

Photographed by Sean Thomas with video by Shane Sigler, the campaign was shot on location at the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport and at The Skylark rooftop lounge, capturing the brand’s signature chic jet-set style and easy glamour with Bella Hadid, Bretman Rock, Lori Harvey, Tina Leung and friends. The friends journey to New York City to spend the holidays, and ring in the New Year, together, fashioned in looks of cool earthy tones, vibrant hues and dazzling silver-and-black accents; each image of the campaign radiates the warm, joyful spirit of the New York holidays - an embedded Hollywood image fondly familiar even to those of us who haven’t lived a day across the pond.

“This holiday season, we really wanted to capture the heart of the holidays: traveling to celebrate with the loved ones we’ve missed so much,” says Michael Kors. “And what better way to do that than by sharing luxurious gifts and hitting the town, looking fabulous while you’re on the go? We all deserve a little extra joy, love and glamour this season.”

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’S LATEST INITIATIVE WITH A TEAM ARTS EDUCATION

True to a legacy in philanthropic values, Alexander McQueen announce their new inspiring initiative that will provide financial support to A Team Arts Education, a community youth arts education organisation located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Under the guidance of Sarbjit Natt, the organisation’s director, live experiences with McQueen’s design, textile and embroidery professionals, including Sarah Burton, will be structured as part of ‘The Explore Programme’: the A Team’s Arts Education’s introduction to fashion, textiles and art and design pathways. Additionally, this initiative will also collaborate with the Central Saint Martin’s Insights Programme led by Berni Yates, opening the doors to higher education to many who my not have access to arts subjects in school.

DIOR ANNOUNCE THAT THE FALL22 MEN’S COLLECTION WILL TAKE PLACE IN LONDON

‘I can’t wait to do a show in my hometown,’ says Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Dior Menswear, as the House announce that the unveiling of the FALL22 men's collection will take place in London on December 9th. Although the extensive legacy of Dior is one familiar to most, many may not know that the staple French label in fact has a special historic friendship with the United Kingdom, one which began in 1947 when Dior held their first ever show across the channel - with the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret amongst those present.

“We are delighted to be presenting our Fall men’s collection abroad once again, and to be reconnecting with the 'physical' runway, an experience that is more important than ever,” states Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture. “We are proud and excited to be bringing this unique event to life in London, a particularly symbolic destination dear to Monsieur Dior and the House since 1947. London is of course also the city closest to Kim Jones' heart, where he was born and where he lives, which inspires him with its inexhaustible creativity and which he loves deeply.”
