Staff Writer.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Writer to join the Perfect team. You will be working closely with the Senior editor pitching ideas and discussing Perfect’s website and social media channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and extensive knowledge of the fashion industry. You will also have experience interviewing people and an eye for spotting and sourcing emerging talent and of course, excellent communication and written skills. We want to build a team of people who have fun together and are comfortable putting their ideas across!

Background and Experience
- Previous experience working in a similar role preferable
- Confident regularly pitching new ideas
- Ability and experience working with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for your work and prioritising projects in an organised manner
- A keen eye for spotting emerging talent

Skills & Competencies
- The ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills, proactively communicating opportunities and issues to the team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to efficiently prioritise simultaneous requests and adjust and respond appropriately
- Confident interviewing people
- A highly confident and capable writer
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to use Google Sheets
- Uploading content onto our CMS
- Proofreading written pieces
- Helping with the social media channels

Video Editor and Junior Designer (Digital)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Video Editor and Junior Designer (Digital) to join the Perfect team. You will be working closely with the Senior Editor to create stimulating and engaging content for Perfect’s online platforms to create a professional and consistent feed. As well as editing footage together that we are sent and adding title cards and credits to the videos, we are looking for someone who is engaged and excited by the creative industry. As we grow, we want team members who aren’t afraid to pitch ideas and who want to go out into the world and interview others for Perfect. If this sounds like you, please read below and get in touch!

Background and Experience
Fantastic editing and post-production skills
A passion for digital content and a deep understanding of how to create impact through visual storytelling
A knowledge and hunger for creating visuals for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram main grid, stories, IGTV & TikTok)
Ability and experience working with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for your work and prioritising projects in an organised manner

Skills & Competencies
- Excellent in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
- Animation a plus
- Videography skills
- The ability to create high-quality video and motion graphics content that delivers strong aesthetics and clear messaging
- Attention to detail is a must, accurately adhering to briefs and deadlines
- Ability to take on feedback, new ideas and direction
- The ability to source fitting music
- Strong communication skills, proactively communicating opportunities and issues to the team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to efficiently prioritise simultaneous requests and adjust and respond appropriately
- Sourcing creatives and artists, both emerging and established, who the Perfect audience will connect with
- Uploading content to YouTube and Perfect’s CMS

Key Responsibilities
- Create original, high-quality content (primarily video, and static) - as well as editing videos for social media and online, you will be working closely with the Senior Editor - who works across print and digital - to help design Perfect’s social media channels
- Video editing
- Creating 2D motion graphics including title animations, stings, explainer animations/infographics
- Selecting audio, video, colour, and animation styles
